Nutrition Steps: Is nutrition your missing link? One Step Beyond now offers individualized nutritional coaching by registered dietitian Jennifer Patzkowsky, MS, RD/LDN. Jennifer has experience working with triathletes training for both sprint and Ironman events and has competed in marathon and Ironman races herself.
To get started, sign up for a nutrition analysis, described below. Then Jennifer will follow-up with you weekly or 2 times a month to assess your nutrition and answer your questions. She will also have access to your workout plans and can structure your nutrition plan accordingly.
One-time Nutrition Analysis: $150
> Comparison of the three days analyzed versus a recommended optimal nutrition program based on your activity level, weight management or fitness/competition goals
> Estimation of caloric intake and expenditure and an explanation of how this affects weight management and athletic performance
> Recommended macronutrient (protein, carbohydrates, and fat) and micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) levels and food sources.
> Specific meal plan
3 month package: $400
6 month package: $750
Both packages include:
> Nutrition analysis
> Weekly follow-up by email or phone. The follow-up sessions are designed to fine tune your eating plan, make modifications for different types of training sessions, and answer any questions you may have regarding your nutrition program.
Food journal analysis-$65 per 4 food journal reviews
> Four reviews of your current food and exercise habits. You will receive a form for journaling your nutrition and activity for 3 days. Or you may choose to use your own personal tracking device/app and send me the username and password for my review (this does not have to be completed within 1 month).
> Beneficial feedback about your food journal to achieve specific goals (body composition, performance, etc.).
